These pictures are from the Summer of 2023 and they show the result of more than ten years of work. The property is a Craftsman style home that was built in 1927. When it was purchased in 2012, it had been allowed to fall into disrepair through the last few decades.

Later I intend to post pictures from when we purchased the property, and showing the renovations inside and outside through the years.

A detached garage used to stand at the end of the driveway in the back. Around 2014, it had begun to list dangerously, so it had to be torn down. More about that later! I will include the stories about all of the crazy and dangerous things renovations and "repairs" we discovered that someone had done to this property through the years.

Next summer, the plan is to build a new deck to cover the old garage pad area and finish the recycling area with doors. I would also like to build a deck, or otherwise cover the car "turn around" area in front of the back porch.
